National Director, SOS Children's Villages Morocco
Béatrice Beloubad is the cornerstone of SOS Children’s Villages in Morocco. She joined the association 24 years ago and has been its National Director for the past 21 years.
One of her first challenges upon joining the association, was to open the first youth facility in Marrakech for the girls who had grown up in Aït Ourir SOS Children’s village, in a very conservative time and a rather patriarchal society, , Since then, as the National Director, she has significantly increased the scope of the organization, opening 3 new SOS Children’s Villages out of 5 villages existing today, 1 specialized facility that takes charge of children and youth with specific needs, and implementing 7 Family Strengthening Programs across Morocco.
She is dedicated to the continuous achievement of SOS Children’s Villages’ mission with one steady objective: protect and promote and foster children’s rights and empower vulnerable children so that they become accomplished grown-ups.
