FIHA 2020 POSTPONED
Due to the ongoing lockdowns and continued uncertainty with travel we have decided to postpone FIHA to 2021. We would like to thank our sponsors, media partners, and registrants for supporting the event and sticking with us during such unprecedented times.
In the meanwhile, we have launched #AfricaTomorrow, a virtual conference to help you connect with peers from hospitality, aviation, and tourism industry and engage in the conversations you need to have during these rapidly transforming and difficult times for our industries
The 2020 edition of the Forum de l’Investissement Hôtelier Africain (FIHA) will take place at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire, with the support of the host sponsor Accor. It follows-on from a highly successful and impactful regional event in Marrakech, co-hosted with the Moroccan government in February 2019 and which gathered over 300 delegates from 28 countries.
FIHA and its affiliated event, the Africa Hotel Investment Forum, are committed to driving investments in regional hotel projects. The events connect key international and regional stakeholders, private and institutional investors to the hotel developers and operators that are fueling the growth of the hotel industry across the continent. The projects that are promoted and funded at FIHA drive investments in tourism, stimulate economic growth in regional markets, create jobs and encourage much needed infrastructure.
We look forward to welcoming the most influential industry players at our forthcoming event in the dynamic city of Abidjan.
"Selecting Cote d’Ivoire to host FIHA is proof that the country deserves its ranking as third most important destination in Africa for business tourism. It also demonstrates investor confidence in our ambition to boost our tourism and hospitality industries. It will be an opportunity for the sector to showcase its potential, projects and tourism assets. Our “Sublime Côte d’Ivoire” tourism strategy, aims to propel tourism as the 3rd pillar of our country’s economy. It is guided by a triple purpose: to fuel a growth engine for GDP, to promote local development and to drive skilled and un-skilled employment opportunities."
Siandou Fofana, Minister of Tourism, Côte d’Ivoire
300+ delegates from 25+ countries expected
